ECCO Kids - Guardians of Little Feet

Following on from the success of the Autotrader TV and Cinema Campaign, Mynt Design came back to Omni to produce an exciting new campaign for Danish shoe brand, ECCO.

ECCO is the only major shoe company to own and operate their own production and retail facilities and their passion for detail and obsession with sustainability is at the core of everything they do. 

What makes ECCO kids shoes unique is they are made from camel leather, meaning the leather is waterproof, sustainable, soft and durable - demonstrating ECCO’s commitment to uncompromising quality, innovative technology and design. ECCO’s new ‘Guardians of little feet’ campaign had to reflect all of this.

Embracing the relentless energy of our hero girl, we follow her as she gets up and goes on a great adventure - climbing trees, jumping in puddles, making friends and riding her bike all enabled by her trusty ECCO shoes. 

This campaign is our 5th production with the director Paul Butterworth and with great craft and attention to detail we were able to build on the brief and include lots of real life truisms, great transitions and fun edit cuts. 

Going into the production we knew the content would have to work hard - with the need for shorter social edits, stills and interactive competitions - almost everything shot over the four day shoot would be utilised. Shooting in and around Bristol, using local locations and ancient forests the piece was lit and shot to perfection by Director of Photography, Paul O’Callahan.
