AI film, made by filmmakers
How much does an AI film cost?
As a guide, a 30-second AI ad is around £6,000 and a two-minute AI film around £11,000, excluding VAT. Many things can move the price up or down, so answer a few quick questions and watch the estimate for yours build as you go. Then your own Omni producer calls you within 24 hours to talk it through.
About two minutes. Nothing is agreed until you've spoken to us.

People make every film
AI lets us make what a budget would once have ruled out. It doesn't replace the crew, the director or the edit: everything is still written, directed, cut and checked by people who have made films for over twenty years, and we always tell you where AI has been used.
Step 1
What's the film for?
Pick the closest. The clips are from films we've made with AI.
Step 2
Your retainer
The campaign concept is agreed with you up front. Each film is then scripted and storyboarded within it, signed off with you, and made. The films are spread evenly over the campaign, and so is the monthly fee.
You can have more than one film a month, or a longer time: set both here.
In months. The films and their fee are spread evenly over it.
Planning a large order, with a big set of films or a long campaign? Talk to your Omni producer about it.
Step 3
Campaign development, up front
Before the first month we develop the whole campaign with you. It is done once, at the start, and every month builds on it.
What's included
- Briefing with your team. Meetings where you share your audience insight and objectives, so we understand who the campaign is for.
- Creative strategy. Working from your campaign brief, how the films will creatively deliver it and work together over the term.
- Creative concepts and ideation. From our own ideas, or built from your brief.
- Characters, scenarios and tone. The characters, the scenarios the films will follow, and the campaign's look, tone and voice.
- Your agreed concept. We present it and refine it with you, and every scripted commercial in the campaign is built on it.
Six days of creative development between two of our team, plus a day's contingency. Paid once, before the first month.
Step 2
How long, and how many versions?
Every extra version needs an editor, and a new aspect ratio usually means reframing shots, not just cropping them.
The full-length version, before any shorter edits.
Longer than 10 minutes? Price it at 10 minutes and send it to us: your Omni producer will contact you to plan the rest.
A radio version of the campaign, scripted, voiced and mixed, at a fixed price.
Cutdowns are shorter versions of the main film: for example a 15-second and a 6-second cutdown of a 30-second film.
Local versions for other markets, made from translations you supply. Each language is every version again, with its own subtitles and on-screen text.
Step 3
How should it look?
These choices change how many attempts each shot takes. Faces that speak and characters take the most work to keep consistent.
Step 4
Voice, music and sound
Whichever voice you choose, a director casts it and directs the performance.
Step 5
What will it be shown on?
Resolution changes how long every shot takes to generate and render.
Resolution is how sharp the picture is. HD (1080p) is the standard for web and social, and the most cost-effective. 4K has four times the detail, and it looks sharper everywhere, phones and social included: a film made in 4K keeps more of its detail when a platform compresses it. It's also what broadcast, cinema and big screens need, and it keeps the film looking good as screens get sharper.
Step 6
Who signs it off, and by when?
Each stage ends with a sign-off.
At each stage you see the work and tell us what to change. One round is one set of your changes, which we then make. The stages are the script (the words), the treatment (storyboards, key frames and characters, showing how the film will look), then a first cut and a final cut of the film itself.
Before we start producing with AI, you sign off the script, the treatment and the look. Then you see a first cut and a final cut. This is how many rounds of changes you get at each stage. Two is standard.
Step 7
Send it to your Omni producer
Check the policy, then create the budget
Check how we use AI on your film, then send us your brief. We'll call you within 24 hours.
How we use AI on your film
- Your material never trains AIWe only use business or enterprise accounts, with model training switched off.
- Your material stays yoursIt isn't used for any other client or kept in a shared library. Your brand assets only go into closed models.
- Nothing unlicensed goes inOnly material we shot, material licensed for AI use, or material you supply.
- Real people only with consentAnyone who appears in, or informs, generated material signs a release that covers AI use.
- AI never draws your logo or claimsLogos, pack shots, product claims and legal text are composited from your approved files.
- We tell you what's AIEvery delivery comes with a note of the tools and models used, and which parts were generated.
- Your policy comes firstIf you have your own AI rules, we follow them. Where they differ from ours, yours win.
- Deleted when we're doneYour material is removed from AI tools and storage within 30 days of completion, or sooner if you ask.
