Wiltshire Farm Foods | Don’t Tell Geoff

Premium quality food and convenience

Since 2018 we’ve produced campaigns for Wiltshire Farm Foods, showcasing their exceptional service and the special bonds between customers and delivery drivers. For this latest campaign, we shifted focus to highlight what sets WFF apart: the premium quality of their meals and the convenience of always having a delicious option ready in the freezer.

With an open creative brief and all written, produced and directed in-house at Omni, we moved beyond the familiar documentary style to produce an uplifting story centered on the relationship between a customer and her dog, Geoff. Their playful, “old married couple” dynamic mirrors the reliability and comfort Wiltshire Farm Foods brings, making the campaign both relatable and memorable.

To elevate the energy and comedic tone, we loved the idea of using playful crash zooms and whip pans as stylistic transitions between scenes. These techniques inject a playful, dynamic quality, reinforcing the lightness and humour we want to associate with the theme of independence.

Additionally, these quick transitions allowed us to jump between different moments, locations, and timelines with the same character. Stylistically, this is a refreshing departure from the documentary-style approach we’ve employed in past campaigns, adding a fun and modern twist that differentiates this ad from previous campaigns, while not isolating the audience and staying true to their brand’s essence. We also felt that it’s more important than ever to entertain in the ad break and we look forward to seeing how Pat and Geoff’s story unfolds!

“They are just an honest bunch of people who really want to deliver the best work they can – good isn’t good enough for them! They have taken time to really understand our customers, and always use that insight when considering creative ideas.”
