Expanding a campaign to reach a wider audience

Auto Trader required a new advert focusing on their Instant Offer product that enables consumers to get a valuation and sell their vehicles quickly and easily online.

The advert builds on the brand’s Britain’s Biggest Matchmaker campaign platform, which launched in December 2020, and celebrates the unique and diverse characters of Great Britain.

To build consistency and enable all content to be recognisable as part of Auto Trader’s ongoing Britain’s Biggest Matchmaker campaign, this advert continues with the key stylistic approach established in the first three adverts of the campaign, of moving in closer to the hero character and features a key rug pull moment for the product reveal and consequent celebration.

A multi-channel approach will help to reach a wide audience of existing and new car sellers, the advert will be delivered via TV, Connected TV, broadcast video on demand (BVOD) and digital activity including social and online video.

As the voice of Auto Trader, Jennifer Saunders once again brings her unique brand of British humour to the advert, accompanying the hero character on their journey of discovery.
